Era studied psychology and obtained a Master’s degree in clinical psychology. During that time, she trained as a systemic and family therapist at the Laboratory for the Study of Human Relations, where she also completed her training as a Trainer in Systemic and Family Therapy.
She has worked in various settings: At the Career Guidance and Counselling Centre of the American School “TASIS”; Αt PLEFSI, the intervention program of the Centre for the Treatment of Addiction (KETHEA) , where she engaged primarily with the parents of adolescents who occasionally or systematically use substances. She also worked for many years in the field of qualitative research.
She currently works privately as a psychotherapist and family therapist in Marousi, with adults and adolescents, individually and in groups. She is an associate of the Laboratory for the Study of Human Relations, as a trainer for mental health professionals since 2008, and as a therapist since 2009. She collaborates with preschools and schools, coordinates parent groups and writes articles for journals and magazines.
She is also an author of children’s books. She has published four books through Kedros publishing house, encouraging children to look at the world in a new light.
